Mesa Boogie S.O.B. 100 watt Head

Introduced in the 1980's during the Mark II era, the Mesa Boogie S.O.B. (Son of a Boogie) was the brand's first reissue attempt of the iconic Mark I. This amp features two cascading gain inputs, offering incredible tonal versatility. The control layout includes Volume (Gain) 1, Volume (Gain) 2, Master, High, Middle, Low, and either a Limit or Presence knob, depending on the version. While it doesn't offer foot-switching, you can use an A/B splitter pedal to toggle between Input 1 and Input 2, allowing you to switch up your sound with ease.

This Mesa Boogie Son of a Boogie amp is in very good condition and sounds great! The amp was gone through by our amplifier tech and everything is in working order. There are some marks on the top of the amplifier as well as some rips and lifts in the tolex. Please note: the factory cut out on the bottom is for the optional reverb tank Mesa offered as an option at the time.
