This particular model is the D Vintage TS, designed by Dana Bourgeois, voiced and setup in Lewiston, ME, and reviewed by Bourgeois to assure their standards of quality control are met. With a beautiful Alaskan Sitka Spruce Soundboard and Indian Rosewood back and sides, the tone produced is rounded out, warm, and full. A smooth Ebony fingerboard makes for easy playability, and 6 Schaller Grand Nickel tuners hold steady regardless of climate. Completed in a High Gloss finish, this guitar has the looks, playability, quality of parts, and workmanship behind it you can trust. Our all-new Touchstone Series guitars feature Old-Growth Alaskan Sitka Spruce tops and Adirondack Spruce braces harvested from deep in our own backyard, selected and hand-voiced in Lewiston, Maine by Dana Bourgeois and his team.

Using our renown system of hand voicing, all Touchstone Series soundboards are optimized for tonal excellence by a team of skilled luthiers right here in Maine.
PROUDLY HANDCRAFTED
The back and sides of the Touchstone Vintage/TS are made with carefully selected Indian Rosewood and are assembled by a small group of Eastman’s talented luthiers, each one carefully trained in Dana Bourgeois’ time honored building techniques. Each specialized step is performed by hand to bring out the beauty and tonal complexity of your Dread or OM.
