Phased Systems manufactured a series of mini-guitars in Japan in the 1980s.  Frank Zappa was pictured with their strat model on the cover of the Feb 1985 Guitar Player Magazine and talked about the instrument at some length. You can find clips of that interview on the net (he apparently had a few of these)  and played it live. It's a good read. Ed Van Halen and Steve Vai are mentioned in some information out there as having D'Minis, so they were a bit of a thing apparently.

Tuned to an F#, the string relationships to each other are the same as standard tuning.

Condition-wise, the guitar has a little bit of clear coat flaking near the top on the face of the headstock, it is missing one of the control knob tops, and underneath the bridge shows that it was moved about a 1/4 of inch by someone previously. The bridge is in it's original position now, with the evidence of the previous location concealed under the plate.

Has the original bag it came in.
