For sale we have an American HSS Strat in good condition. This guitar has seen use, with minor play wear including light finish and pickguard scratches along with a few small dings. None of these affect playability or performance.
This American Special Strat features the HSS pickup configuration, a rosewood fingerboard, a great looking 3-color sunburst, plus an upgraded Seymour Duncan Special Special bridge pickup.
The body is alder with a gloss urethane 3-color sunburst. The bridge is a six saddle vintage style synchronized tremolo. Pickguard is a 3 ply b-w-b, with black control knobs and black pickup covers and bobbins. It all ties together very nicely when mated up with the rosewood FB. There are 3 trem springs installed, with no trem cover.
The maple neck is a modern 'C' shape and has the large '70s style headstock with standard cast/sealed Fender machines. The neck is finished with a satin urethane. The rosewood fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets, a 9.5" radius, white dot markers, and a synthetic bone nut that's 1.685" wide. Scale length is 25.5". There is no wear to speak of on the frets and the back of the neck has no dings.
Electronics include 2 Texas Special single coil pickups at neck and middle, along with an upgraded Seymour Duncan Special Special SH11 Alnico II bridge pickup. Controls are 1 master volume, 1 neck Grease Bucket tone, 1 bridge Grease Bucket tone, along with a 5 way switch.
