The Wittner "Ultra" tailpiece is ultra strong and made of ultralight "space age" synthetic material. It includes 4 built-in fine tuners and a tailpiece adjuster. This piece of the instrument holds the strings down, so it's pretty sturdy. Hooks onto the endpin to stay in place.
